Would it be possible for the paved path, where it connects Cambridge Common to the sidewalk on the north side of the Common, to be filled in with some more asphalt? The attached Google streetview image shows that there's a strong desire line there for cyclists going in an out of the park where it connects to "little" Concord Ave on the north side of the park. A straight shot from the Concord Ave bike lane to the park takes you right through a tiny unpaved section of path - extending the path right up to the granite post would make for a smoother ride and also remove a spot that is just dirt/mud anyway.
