This is getting worse. What would it take to get a truck in with some crushed gravel to fill in the trails, or better yet have proper paths/sidewalks. If this was in the New Haven green, the condition of this park would not fly, but somehow since it is in fair haven, nobody cares. Fix the paths, fix the lights. The seawall is a good start, but we need a holistic solution. Also real trash cans would be nice instead of plastic barrels.
Erosion continues to be an ongoing issue. We struggle system wide with keeping up, this is not because of a neighborhood but because of the limited resources and continued behaviors of littering, illegal dumping and homeless encampments that disrupt other work. We are continuing to work with Engineering to design a long term solution but will be scheduling another drop of dirt/stone dust to mitigate within the next few weeks.
We are closing this request due to its historic nature. If this concern still requires attention and you still believe SeeClickFix is a viable tool for its resolution the best way for it to be addressed is for you to create a new request including a current description of what is occurring and what solution you hope to see regarding this matter, citing/linking this request in the details. Thank you for your dedication to improving the quality of life in our community.
