    Large pile of old furniture and other household items has been sitting on the curb near 16 Rock Hill Rd. for at least 2 weeks. It's starting to rot and smell.

    A terrible sulfur like smell, like burning oil has been permeating the neighborhoods of Fair Haven and Fair Haven Heights on and off for the last 2-3 days. It's smells very similar to the toxic odors of the industrial area around Water Street. It's a VERY strong smell and at it's worst is almost gag inducing. I have not smelled it before in this area and have lived here for almost 8-years. I remember noxious smells in the area a few years back which I think came from the factory on Lenox Ave, but these odors are much stronger. Where is it coming from this time? What are additional options for reporting this health hazard?

    Really bad smell at night-like a mix of industrial fumes, exhaust and a pack of skunks. It's been coming and going for the last few weeks in the late evening after 9pm. What is it? Where could it be coming from?
    It's now Fall 2012 and I have not smelled the fumes for the last 9 months. However I would not consider the issue to be resolved until the source of the smell has been determined and some action is taken to get rid of the fumes for good.
